i am in love with this company ... i met the young girl who owns this company late last year and im soo soo happy that she is doing so well, we just got her new cushions in at my new work (treasured interiors) and i have already purchased one of the feather heart ones, hopeing to have the deer one in my room soon =)
she draws all the images her self - i think she should sell the images as prints =) ... on more thing i love the name of her brand, go check out the meaning behind it here and the logo! wonderful!!

DIY - rope words.
just another favourite from wednesday =)
Once you have all your supplies, prepare your working area by laying down the wax paper.
Next pick a word you want to scribe out in rope. Keep in mind that the longer the word the more flimsy it will be dried. Depending on how confident you feel with your freehand rope writing, you may want to sketch out your word out on the wax paper to trace your rope over.
Next mix the cornstarch, glue and warm water together in a mixing bowl until it’s not clumpy.
Begin feeding the rope into the glue mixture and allow the rope to be fully saturated by the glue.
Now it’s time to write out your word with the rope. Push down hard in the areas where the rope overlaps. You may also need to apply extra glue mixture to those areas to ensure the hold when dried. And that’s it! Once you’ve finished let your word dry on a hard, flat surface for 12 hours.

lovely home in byron bay - i am so jealous of this couple they go sailing for half the year =) so most of there pieces are found from years of traveling ... also they have a little cottage that they rent out if anyones interested =)
Mapping.
i map this for mitch (the boyfriend) for christmas ... not sure why it's taken me so long to share. with the help of dad i started with a simple pinboard and just added a little bit here and there of white paint next i brought a laminted map from national geographic but then cut out the bits i didnt want ... i stuck that on with cratf glue and purchased pins from kikki k ... i used twin to contect places he has already been to but the idea is when he travels all over the world as planned there will be string running every which way direction =) last dad helped me use some of our old fence palings to create a rustic frame =)
think its probably the best "made" present i've ever made him, but not sure how i'll ever bet this one =)
Just a little something today ...
absolutely love this place! ... i cant wait to see places like this when i go traveling in July - updates with that = flights are booked and first 4 weeks all organised ... its all happening now =)
sorry quite busy today, really don't have time for a big post ... lots of learning new things to do at my new job - and a little bit of interior design work this afternoon in a beautiful penthouse in coolangatta (owned by the man who owns ripcurl) ... i hope to post some photos early next week of the finished product, wish me luck =)
